Sustainability
Guidelines for policy makers
The TASC project developed a set of evidence-based guidelines for policymakers that demonstrated the importance of sustainable communication as a transversal competence in education systems. These guidelines were grounded in insights from the piloting phase, including the implementation of the training programme, the testing of tools and materials, and the feedback collected through Teacher Boards and Communities of Practice. Together, this evidence highlighted how sustainable communication contributes to inclusion, conflict prevention, democratic engagement, and the overall quality and resilience of education.
The guidelines further translated these findings into concrete policy recommendations, supporting the integration of sustainable communication into teacher education, continuous professional development, and broader educational frameworks at national and European level.
The full set of recommendations is available in the dedicated Guidelines for Policymakers underneath, which provides detailed and actionable guidance for policy implementation.
